“Didn’t Ms. Sharpe wear that exact shirt yesterday?” Gary Green asked loudly, causing the classroom to quiet and brought the attention of the whole class to the teacher in front of them. Several of the girls and boys behind him giggled as they realized the exact same thing.
Sara Lance closed her eyes in frustration and wanted to just disappear right now. She had been having the most amazing morning – she had slept over her girlfriend’s apartment, Ava made her breakfast and they were able to go to work together. But, Sara glanced down to check exactly what shirt she’d picked up that morning to put on – since they wore basically the same size shirt, she’d hadn’t bothered bringing any extra clothes that night and figured she’d borrow one of her girlfriend’s shirt and just wear her jeans again. Instead of grabbing a generic shirt that none of the kids would have noticed, she’d apparently picked the most obvious blue and white collared stripped button down shirt that Ava had indeed worn yesterday now that she thought about it. It wasn’t exactly her type of shirt, either, now that she thought about it.
“How about we stop worrying about what I’m wearing and worry about that essay you all owe me?” Sara asked, hoping to distract the class. It seems to work, as the class erupts into groans and rustling as they reach into their bags to get their essays. Sara grins at them, glancing back down to her girlfriend’s shirt, her face flushing at the thought of her and at the hint of lipstick she could see on the collar of the shirt. Luckily she didn’t think it was that noticeable, and couldn’t help but hope to get Ava to take off this shirt like she had last night.
THE END.
