PART 1
“You’ve got two choices.” Ororo’s words stop him from leaving the room.
“What choices?” His voice was rough even to his own ears, but he hadn’t really spoken since he came back.
“You come back to the team and lead it, or you leave again – we can’t have the kids see you like this.” She gestures to the empty liquor bottles. “We’re your family, Scott. I know it’s been harder for you than it has been for us but we love you – I love you, we need you to come back to us.”
“What if I can’t?”
“You can Scott.”
PART 2
He holds out his hands to the weather goddess before him, she’d never looked so beautiful in her wedding dress. He hadn’t expected this, after all he thought his life was over when Jean died – he had almost given up living and if hadn’t been for the woman beside him at the altar and everything she did to bring him back into himself he wouldn’t be here today – getting married to her.
The weather was perfect, and her white gown flowed down body perfectly and her eyes and smile were bright. His worries of his previous misgivings were long gone.
THE END.
