Notes: Written for mcu100 prompt bed and for 100ships prompt plum. I love this pairing and wanted to write something for mcu100's first challenge and once I saw "plum", I remembered the fandom love of Bucky & plum and figured I'd honor it a bit here.

PART 1


She would never expect the vibrant color of plum of his sheets, not that she would admit to anyone about thinking of what color sheets he had. But if they put a gun to her head and asked her to confess – she’d admit to thinking it would be something a little boring, maybe grey or white sheets – maybe even black or navy. This color however makes his eyes pop just a little bit more, and Mel melts a little bit more each time she catches him staring her from them. And it gets harder to stay away from his bed.


PART 2


It’s been awhile for him, since he had anyone share his bed – since he actually wanted them to. There was just something about Mel, he couldn’t seem to keep away. He hadn’t even thought this might be possible – not with her anyway. She’d just been a way into getting at Valentina in the beginning, before he spoke with her. Speaking with her, giving her an out, hoping she’d call – and she did. Everything seemed to change after that. Hell, his whole life seemed to change overnight and he has her to thank, her and the rest of the New Avengers.
