When he sits down at the restaurant for lunch, the last thing he expected was to have her just take a seat right in front of him. She stared at him with little emotion in her eyes, and after knowing her for years, he didn’t like that. At all. It wasn’t normal, her eyes were always filled with emotion, and to have them as blank as they were now… it was wrong.

“We need you.”

He knew what she meant… but somehow he didn’t feel like that was the whole truth.

“Tell me the truth Chloe.”

“I need you, AC.”
