Summary: Rayquaza wasn’t attacking Deoxys just because they invaded his territory…
Notes: Yeah so I just thought there would be more to the whole Rayquaza attacking Deoxys then just territory. It’s really a ramble of a drabble, but I think its okay.

He was supposed to protect the world.
At least from anything that would come from the skies – his element.
He was the world’s protector.
He was free most of the time… and only came out of the sky a few times in a few couple centuries to see what has changed and what has stayed the same. He was just about as old as Mew was – only a few thousand years younger.
But he was just as powerful.
But this creature… from wherever it had come from - from the outer skies beyond his limits - had almost beaten him.
Like his powers were nothing. It infuriated Rayquaza while he thought over the battle, as he flew through the ozone layer.
As he thought back to the battle, he realized that it would not be the last he saw of the Pokémon from the outer parts of space.
He had promised that he would protect this world, and he would do just that.
He would wait for it to return, and he would beat this creature for good.
It will not harm this world.
He was this world’s protector…
And Rayquaza planned on keeping his world alive.
