Notes: Written for 7_crossovers prompt Forgive. First House MD-related fanfic. Haven't seen anything past Season 1, episode 10 yet for House, so I know this is gonna be AU for everyone else.

“Hermione!”

Dr. Hermione Granger turned around in surprise at the familiar voice. Standing in front of her stood her two best friends she hadn’t seen in a couple of months… since she moved to the United States.

“Harry! Ron! What are you two doing here? Is something wrong?” Hermione questioned, worried something ‘evil’ might be a foot. Growing up with the rise of Voldemort would do that to anyone of course.

Fortunately Harry shook his head, smiling. “No, we just decided to come visit… it has been awhile and well we have loads to tell you.”

“I bet you two do… how’s Ginny? And the kids?” Hermione asked, smiling now with relief. Harry went on to explain that Ginny was pregnant again, and then Ron went on how he met a new girlfriend that he thinks could be “the one”.

“Hermione!” The voice called from behind her, and Hermione smile grew. Ron and Harry immediately noticed it. The doctor moved to stand beside her and smiled politely at the two.

“Harry, Ron, meet Dr. Robert Chase, he’s my boyfriend.” Hermione introduced, quickly. Her eyes widened a little bit in surprise and worry, and she cleared her throat. “Harry and Ron used to go to school together back in England. Did you need me?”

“Nice to meet you two,” Chase stated, shaking Harry’s and Ron’s hands. “Yeah, the results came in and House wants to see us.”




Later, Chase went to his spot on the table in House’s office and found a note for him, he read over it and smiled softly.

Sorry I introduced you as my boyfriend without consulting you first… It was just a stupid impulse. We weren’t official or anything, and since we hadn’t discussed it or anything I know I shouldn’t have said anything. I’m really sorry… and if I freaked you out, please forgive me.

Truthfully, Chase’s stomach was doing summersaults when she had introduced him to her friends… They had been going on a few dates for awhile but neither of them had said anything if it was official or not. He wanted to, but he didn’t want to do anything she didn’t want to do. They went to movies and restaurants when they had free time together, but they never really kissed except maybe that quick peck on the lips he finally had courage to give her last night when he dropped her off at her apartment.

Chase looked up as somebody walked into the office. A large grin broke out on his face as he saw Hermione standing there. He quickly walked up to her.

“Since I’m your boyfriend, then I think obligated to kiss you,” he stated before lowering his lips towards hers. However surprised she was, she grinned as his lips touched her own, and wrapped her arms around his shoulders as he deepened the kiss.
