Notes: First I have to say THANK YOU for all the lovely reviews (and kudos of course) on the series so far, they really motivate me to keep writing and no matter how long it takes me I'm going to try to keep going with this series. ;) I've been adding and tweaking this since the last one was put out but it wasn't until the last week or so that I could completely focus on it. Most of the dialogue you may be familiar with is part of the Supergirl episodes of "Hostile Takeover"& "Blood Bonds", mostly thanks to subtitles. As I stated before, I want to stay as close to canon as I can BUT NOW IT ALL CHANGES. Or at least for things I twist. Title refers to the song "Stand By You" by Rachel Platten, mainly because I was listening to it and a few of her other songs to get inspiration to finish this part.

Notes: I hate to keep apologizing for how long this story is taking, but like I said on "Mad About You", my writing motivation has been very fleeting and I had rough few months in RL. I was able to finish and actually alter this story within the last few days (THINGS HAVE PROGRESSED, I'M SOOO HAPPY). Most of the dialogue you may be familiar with is part of the Supergirl episode of "Human for a Day", mostly thanks to subtitles. I nearly had Kara reveal the actual truth - that they are indeed soulmates in this part... but then I realized it was way too soon. The ending had to be rewritten, which is why this took so long. But hopefully I've explained or answered some fan questions with this part.

Notes: I've been rewatching Supergirl Season via Netflix for a couple different reasons: 1) I love the series! 2) I wanted to write some my OTPs for the series which are also very rare in this fandom and I hoped rewatching would spark something. It did indeed! MCU has a lot of Soulmates AUs where the first sentence/first words your soulmate speaks to you is on your body somewhere; I've used the same thing here. I haven't seen much in the Legends of Superflarrow fandom which I figure is a shame because it's often quite brilliantly done and one of my top favorite AUs. If you happen to rewatch Fight & Flight episode, I actually thought Kara states her next words to Max were her first and thus originally tempted to those instead but rewatching I went with canon. I figured closer to canon, the better.
