Title: Still In Love With You
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairings: Draco/Hermione
Rating: PG-13
Warnings/Spoilers: AU. Language. Violence. Character Death.
Summary: “Please, come back to me Draco. I love you, please, wake up!”
Notes: This was actually written several years ago, so has nothing based around the 6th book. This plot kind of just came to me while I was listening to Going Under by Evanescence.
Hermione sighed, and then she looked over at the window, which was facing a full moon shining brightly. She always loved the dark, the beautiful silver moon, and the peaceful nights near him. Tears rolled down her face. She missed him so much.
Why did Harry have to kill him? He didn’t do anything to hurt her, to him, to anyone. But Harry did. She didn’t get it, why would Harry do that to the one person who knew everything about her, who loved her, who would do anything for her even die.
God no one knows how much she loves him.
She couldn’t even talk let alone see Harry or she’ll kill him. She almost did four times. She knew it was wrong. Harry thought he was evil, so he thought Draco put a spell on her to love him. So Harry killed him, thinking it would all end. But it didn’t. Hermione hated Harry now so much it hurt like hell.
She remembered that day so very clearly, since she was haunted by it every second she lives on; Flashes of it while she is awake, and dreams of it that felt so real as if she was reliving them every time at night. Some nights she wouldn’t even fall asleep in fear that everything would happen again.
FLASHBACK
She looked around; she couldn’t find the room where she knew they were battling.
Time passed with minutes but to Hermione it felt like centuries went by every minute she looked for Draco and Harry.
Soon she found the room they were in. And just in time to see Draco look strait at her and whisper ‘I Love You’ before falling down dead before her.
Harry had a smirk on his face. He turned around and smiled at her!
“Hermione now you don’t have to live a lie anymore! He’s gone forever!” he said with the most joyous face on.
Hermione couldn’t breathe, couldn’t say anything, and couldn’t do anything, until Harry said the last line. That’s when everything became blurred as she ran to Draco’s lifeless body; crying hysterically.
She couldn’t handle it. He couldn’t be dead, she wouldn’t believe that.
“Draco wake up! PLEASE! This isn’t funny! Please wake up! I love you god damn it! You can’t just leave me! Draco… please?” She cried; hitting his chest and a great big snob came from her when she realized this wasn’t a sick joke.
Draco Malfoy, the one person she loved more then being alive, was dead. She grabbed him and held him then buried her head into his cold-like neck, crying and rocking him.
“Please, come back to me Draco. I love you, please, wake up!”
FLASHBACK ENDS
Hermione started to cry harder. All she wanted was to be in the arms of her fiancé, and kiss him forever.
She still loves him so much.
Hermione missed his voice, his kisses, his hugs, the way he used to listen to her when she complained about stuff that happened to her during the day, etc.
She would do anything to get him back. Anything.
THE END.
