"Mm… your kid before seven in the morning," Amara mumbles against her pillow, and snuggles deeper into the covers.
Jean chuckles at her antics, brushing her lips on the part of Amara’s forehead not covered by blanket or hair, and gets out of bed. She couldn’t blame Amara for wanting to sleep in later this morning since she had a late night with the new recruits. And she was more than happy to great their daughter, even if she too wanted to sleep longer.
Reaching into the crib and lifting the baby in her arms, she coos down to Rachel.
