xmen100 prompt dream and for uc_xmen drabble-a-thon prompt Scott/Rogue - “You’re like an angel”.
“You’re like an angel,” his words haunt her dreams more often than not. She was no angel, never had been, never will be – but when he says it (only now in her memory of it), does she believe it. Her dreams change the setting when it repeats the words, sometimes they were doing the play in her dream or they were dancing, and other times they were snuggled together on the couch. After the incident with Warren, it couldn’t help but get a little closer to his words than not, with her dreaming of wings and flying above New York.
