For the first time in a very long time she felt safe, which was kind of funny to think since she was currently in a sewer, but it was true. No one knew she was, besides the ones surrounding her right now. Her family… her new family, whom protected and loved her as if she was just like them. She didn’t have to worry about competing for Clark’s attention or anyone else’s… just for Mikey’s.
“What’s up?” Mikey asked as he paused from eating a slice of pizza, amused at her expression.
Chloe chuckled before kissing him on the cheek.
