25moments prompt music. First Glee fic, and I've had to add my new favorite ship - Kurt/Quinn to the mix. I love the idea of them two as friends. And as anyone knows, I love Will/Quinn (Which btw has a comm -> quinnwill). It's my fic... I can pimp it if I want. ;D I'll eventually make a full-blown Quill fic, but right now I wanted to do something a little different. If this is successful, I might just make more based on this fic.

Surprisingly, it’s Kurt that finds out about them before anyone else did. If anyone had found out about them, they had been guessing it would have been Rachel. But no, Kurt Hammel was the one that found out. When he was driving to school early one morning – to avoid getting dumped into the garbage which would have messed up his hair – he spotted Quinn getting out of Mr. Schuester’s car a block from school. It was such a cliché thing for them to do, but yet he could understand it.
The others had been wondering where Quinn had been living, but she would only admit to living with a relative. He knew she had been lying – he’s studied her since even before Finn had started dating her. Knew her lies, knew her truths. Hey, it’s better to know your enemy, after all.
Since they had both been early to class, he finds her alone in the Glee club classroom.
“You’re living with Mr. Schue.” He states it bluntly, partly because that’s who he is and partly because he’s not sure how else to bring it up. She flinches, but doesn’t deny it. She looks up at Kurt and sighs, her shoulders droop.
“Are you going to tell anyone?” She knew he disliked her, knew he liked Finn, but then, who didn’t? Even her so called best friends would go after Finn when he’s not taken anymore.
“No.” It surprises Quinn more than it had surprised Kurt that he said it. He hadn’t even realized he wouldn’t say anything to anyone until that moment. Thinking back, he realized Quinn had acted more free and happy since she’d been staying at Mr. Schue’s place. And he knew that Mr. Schuester wouldn’t do anything – wouldn’t hurt her or drop her like a sack of potatoes. And who better to take care of someone that Mr. Schue? He needed someone to take care of. With Ms. Pillsbury and Mrs. Schuester gone, he needed someone to take his mind off them. Who better than a pregnant teenager that needs help?
“Why?” It comes out a lot softer and emotional than Quinn had intended, but she was just happy she hadn’t just started crying from the relief. She needed Mr. Schuester. And despite what he might say differently, she knew he needed her as well.
“Darling, you have enough problems and complications. Getting you kicked out of another home and getting Mr. Schue fired is the last thing I want. Now, any ideas of a solo you want to do?”
“Actually I do… Gotta Go My Own Way.” Kurt chuckled.
“I never pictured you as the High School Musical fan.” Quinn let out a laugh out that.
“Yeah, well… I just like the music.”
“And Zac Efron,” Kurt winked. “But that’s okay because I like it too… For the songs, of course.”
“Oh, of course.” Quinn stated in mock belief, before letting out a loud laugh, unable to control her laughter. Kurt joined her.
That was how Will Schuester found them five minutes later… and his heart ached for his students. He was happy that Quinn was able to laugh again, and that she found another friend. This was why he loved Glee.
