Leah could barely believe she had done it. Gotten used to the bloodsuckers and felt as if she was at home just like Seth and Jake now while she was here at the Cullen’s house.
The house was filled with her fellow pack members and the Cullen family for the Thanksgiving gathering Esme had requested they had this year.
After everything that happened these past few months, it seemed like a good way to thank the fates for allowing them to be spared death. Everything turned out alright… none of her (unexpected) extended family, thankfully, died when the Volturi arrived.

Leah smiled contently as she took in everyone at Esme’s Thanksgiving gathering.
Jake held Nessie in his arms as he talked with Billy and Charlie, her mother stood close beside Charlie with a small smile. Seth was laughing with Alice and Jasper over something or another, while Emmett and Rosalie lay contently in each other’s arms on the couch, watching a football game. Bella and Edward were sitting side by side as he softly played the piano. Carlisle and Esme was happily laughing along with whatever Embry and Quil were talking about.
Warmth flooded Leah as she took in everything.
