“I’m pregnant,” Leah stated, despair and nerves reaching their peaks in her.
Jasper stared at her in shock… not since he became a vampire had he ever expected somebody telling him that. And when his beautiful Leah came to him today he didn’t expect this was why she was nervous. “Is it-”
“I haven’t been with anyone else.” Leah stated. “I thought werewolves and vampires couldn’t have children together.”
“Didn’t we think that about vampires and humans before Bella?”
“Yeah, but I just thought since we’re mortal enemies-”
“We shouldn’t be able to produce anything.” Jasper interrupted.
“Yes,” Leah admitted.
